2022 Dollywood’s Splash Country Early Ride Time

Early Ride Time (ERT) is a fantastic perk we offer Season Passholders. At Dollywood’s Splash Country, ERT is available every Saturday morning from 9 – 10 a.m. for Gold Two-Park and Diamond Season Passholders and Dollywood lodging guests.

What does that mean?

These guests get a head start on their day with some of the most popular attractions in the park. Those with a Gold Two-Park or Diamond Season Pass (as well as our lodging guests!) get into the park an hour before opening. They are able to claim the best seats and check off a couple of crowd-favorite attractions before other guests see the rope drop.

Did You Know?

Dollywood Diamond Passholders have reserved seating on the wave pool deck!
Arrive before 11 a.m., and we have a seat in the shade (look for the Ranger Station) waiting on you. Everyone in your party must show their Diamond Pass to access the area.

THEN, those Gold and Diamond Passholders get to use their passes for Golden Hour from 10 – 11 a.m. (Remember, ERT is specific to Saturdays, but Golden Hour happens every operating day!)

What does that mean?

Guests with Gold and Diamond passes use those passes to enter the TimeSaver entrance of participating attractions for an hour. (I recommend using a waterproof lanyard to hold your pass!)

With these two opportunities (ERT and Golden Hour), you can effectively conquer many of your to-dos before lunch and then chill in the no-line attractions such as the lazy river, the wave pool and The Cascades in the afternoon.

You’ll notice that not all rides are included in the Early Ride Time schedule, and that’s because we select the most popular attractions so you don’t have to wait to ride. (Example: there’s never more than a five-minute wait for The Butterfly, so it wouldn’t be advantageous to offer this one during Early Ride Time.)
