When I am on vacation, I want to make sure I am doing everything I can to maximize my time and fit in as much fun and relaxation as possible. One of the best ways to do that during a trip to Dollywood is by staying at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa. The resort offers many perks to guests, and I want to make sure you know how to take advantage of them while you're with us!
By their very name, it's obvious that TimeSavers save you time. These passes allow you special expedited access to ride lines and unlimited show reservations. Resort guests with Dollywood tickets or seasons passes receive complimentary TimeSavers during their stay ($60, plus tax, value per person*). What you may not know is that you can redeem these on the day you check in before you actually check in. Check-in starts at 4 p.m., but if you and your family arrive early and want to maximize your time at the park, you can pick up your TimeSavers anytime during the day you are scheduled to check in. This goes for check-out as well. Checkout is at 11 a.m., but your TimeSavers are valid the entire day. Be sure to see the front desk for your guest amenities card. This dated card allows you access to ride the trolley and get your TimeSavers for the length of your stay!
As a resort guest, you have access to the resort trolley. This complimentary transportation service takes guests to and from Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country. The trolley allows you to bypass toll booth lines (and parking fees!) saving you time (and money!). It also saves you time by dropping you off at the groups entrance right at the front of the park. This allows you to skip the tram and tram lines as well as possible longer lines at the main entrance. Just like TimeSavers, guests can take advantage of the DreamMore Trolley before check-in and after check-out.
With so many shopping options at Dollywood, many of us are bound to be walking the park with several shopping bags in tow. This can be time consuming if you have to take turns on rides so someone is always with the packages, or if you are stopping to rent lockers to secure your new Dollywood merchandise. As a resort guest, you can take advantage of our Package Pick-Up service. This allows you to leave your purchased items with the vendor or the store where it will be transported to the front desk at the resort for you to pick up.
No trip to Dollywood is complete without a loaf of world-famous cinnamon bread. If you have visited the Grist Mill for cinnamon bread before, you know the line can be longer than the lines at the roller coasters! If you want to save time, skip the line at the Grist Mill and grab your cinnamon bread at the DM Pantry inside the resort.
On Saturdays during Dollywood's operational season, the park opens an hour early just for Season Passholders and Dollywood lodging guests. Each time, there's an attraction (or an area!) that is open specifically for our most-loyal guests to enjoy. Dollywood's Splash Country does this, too!
