Military Discount on Dollywood Tickets, Passes and Stays

Dollywood is proud to support our country's armed forces. We offer a military discount on day tickets, Season Passes and on stays. Because we're celebrating veterans this week, I thought it would be helpful to pull together information about military discounts in this blog. Thank you for your service!

Who and How to Buy

Our military discount applies to U.S. active or retired military, veterans, reservists, spouses and dependents when valid military personnel and dependent IDs are verified. These tickets may be purchased online or at the gate. Because park capacity is limited, we encourage you to buy tickets in advance to ensure you're not turned away. To receive the discount on a room or cabin, book your Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa room or your Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Cabin by phone.

Tickets

Dollywood and Dollywood's Splash Country offer one-day, two-day and three-day ticket options at a special military rate. We also have multi-park options if you want to visit both our theme park and water park: one-day, two-park; two-days, two-parks; and three-days, two parks. (When Dollywood's Splash Country is closed, you will only see options for Dollywood on the website!) If you're only planning one trip to Dollywood, these are your best offers.

How to Verify Tickets In-Person Once you're sure you qualify for a military ticket, you can purchase day tickets at any ticket window at Dollywood or Dollywood's Splash Country, and the hosts will check your military IDs there. Remember, I recommend you purchase in advance in case it's a busy day and we're at our capacity limit. A purchased ticket serves as your reservation! How to Verify Tickets Online If you buy online, you will use the secure ID.me verification system to purchase your tickets. It will direct you to create a My Dollywood online account, and you will receive a confirmation email with barcoded tickets you can scan at the front gate. There's no need to stop by the ticket window. You can walk straight to the turnstiles!

Season Passes

If you plan to come to Dollywood at least a couple times, Season Passes are the way to go! A Season Pass is more cost-effective than purchasing two one-day tickets. Previously, military members could take a day ticket and upgrade it to a Season Pass. Now, we have streamlined the process so you're able to not only buy Dollywood Season Passes online, but you can verify before you arrive, too! Choose from Silver, Gold and Diamond pass types. How to Verify Season Passes In-Person Once you're sure you qualify for military Season Passes, you can purchase them at any ticket window at Dollywood or Dollywood's Splash Country, and a host will check your military IDs there. How to Verify Tickets Online If you buy online, you will use the secure ID.me verification system to purchase your Season Passes. It will direct you to create a My Dollywood online account, and you will receive a confirmation email that you can take to the front gate where you'll get your picture taken at any ticket window. The hosts there will give you a physical pass you can scan to enter the park. Pre-K Imagination Pass Also, it's important you know about the Pre-K Imagination Pass. It's a FREE Season Pass for children who were born in 2018 or 2019!

Stays

We offer military members a 5% discount on a cabin or resort stay. This offer is subject to availability.

Resort Stay To book a room at Dollywood's DreamMore Resort and Spa with a 5% military discount, call 1-800-Dollywood. You need to make the reservation in the military member's name. You will be asked to present the military ID upon check-in.

Cabin Stay To book one of Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Cabins with a 5% military discount, call 1-866-857-2123. Like the policy with our resort, you will need to make the reservation in the military member's name and will be asked to present the military ID upon check-in.
