Vote for Dollywood’s Great Pumpkin LumiNights for Best Theme Park Halloween Event

Vote Now

There are certain things at Dollywood that, I feel, sets the park apart in the theme park world. The entertainment, ambiance and food are near the top of that long list, but the most distinguishing factor is the park’s festivals. Dollywood hosts festivals complete with their own unique offerings and features that reflect the changes in the seasons. I’m not alone in my belief that these festivals are industry-leading experiences for our guests, after all, the Great Pumpkin LumiNights event during our annual Harvest Festival presented by Humana is the reigning champion for the USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice for Best Theme Park Halloween Event.

Once again, the USA Today polls are open and it is time for Dollywood and Great Pumpkin LumiNights to defend its title. Guests who have visited during the Harvest Festival overlay and experienced the seasonal wonder of Great Pumpkin LumiNights know exactly why the event is worthy of such accolades. The event will operate from Sept. 24 – Oct. 30 this year, and is a can’t-miss experience for theme park lovers everywhere.

Voting for USA Today’s 10Best Reader’s Choice travel awards is happening now through Aug. 30. You can follow this page to a direct link for voting, www.dollywood.com/vote,  and see what else USA Today is up to. Anyone is eligible to vote and may do so once per day, per device. Joshua Sauer is a local East Tennessean who has always referred to Dollywood as his second home. Being the youngest of his family, he always wanted to play with the “big kids” at the park. His favorite childhood memory is when he was finally tall enough to ride Thunderhead. He is a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee and a rather loud fan of the Big Orange. Growing up beside Norris Lake, Joshua prefers to be on water when he is not riding a roller coaster. His favorite non-Dollywood hobbies include: spending time with his fiancée, water skiing, wearing orange and refusing to grow up even a little bit.
