Important Reminder! Pre-K Pass Registration Ending!

Preschool Mamas! You’re running out of time to register your child for Dollywood’s FREE Pre-K Imagination Pass. The deadline to get signed up is this Sunday, Feb. 7. There will be no extensions, so if you *think* you may visit Dollywood or Dollywood’s Splash Country sometime in 2021, then I encourage you to take advantage of this amazing program.

Let me cover some quick details for you:

Who Qualifies?

Children born in 2016 or 2017 are eligible for this FREE pass that is good for admission at both our theme park and water park! Children born in 2018 and more recently do not need a ticket to get into our parks. If your child had the pass last year and qualifies again, you need to register for 2021. It’s not automatically carried over.

In my family, I have two little boys. Here, they’re pictured with my husband at Rockin’ Roadway–one of their favorite rides! My older son was born in 2015, so he qualified for the program last year. This year, he aged out, BUT that’s not all bad news. When you buy a pass, it comes with benefits like flexible Bring-A-Friend tickets! The free pass doesn’t get perks beyond complimentary admission—which is nothing to sniff at because that’s a pretty great perk just for signing up!

My younger little boy was born in 2017. Though he doesn’t need an admission ticket until he turns 4 in September, I need to sign him up now to avoid pulling out my wallet later.

What is a Pre-K Imagination Pass?

We first introduced this program last year for Dollywood’s 35th anniversary season. It was so popular, we brought it back this season. It’s a nod to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library (a program that mails free books for children every month birth through 5 years old), hence the name Pre-K Imagination Pass. You could say that the book program is intended to inspire a love of reading in young minds, while the pass program is intended to inspire a love of Dollywood in our youngest guests.

How Does it Work?

First, you have to register for a new Pre-K pass.

Select which category your child falls into:

I added one pass. It tells you here that even though you’re adding to your cart, it’s free.

In my situation, I see the option to add my younger son at the top and I see my older son’s Pre-K Imagination Pass that is no longer valid beyond June 15 below that.

So, after I added my younger guy, he now shows up in my online account.

I will still need to bring my confirmation email and a photo copy of his birth certificate on our next trip to Dollywood to process his pass. As my preschooler says, easy peasy! If you’re looking for things to do this summer, this is it!
