Like Dollywood Discounts? Read THIS!

Though I’m not the betting type, I’d be willing to wager that most of you are aware of the Season Pass option when it comes to buying tickets to Dollywood. Rather than paying for entry every time you come, you pay a flat fee and return again and again throughout the year. BUT, did you realize there are similar Dollywood opportunities beyond admission? Not sure what I’m talking about? You’re in luck. That’s what this blog is all about.

Season Passes

Dollywood Season Passes are never not a good idea. (Did you follow that double-negative?) If you visit Dollywood in the spring and then find yourself back in the fall and/or Christmas season, you’re going to spend more money a la carte. The cost of a Season Pass at its highest price point (remember, the earlier you buy, the more you save AND the more benefits you receive) is still less than buying two one-day tickets.

There’s a deadline coming up—purchase your Season Passes by Feb. 7 before prices go up!

Preschool Tickets

Children younger than 4 get into Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country for free. Darn! Did you just miss the age cut? Maybe not! If your child was born in 2016 or 2017, then you have a few days to register for the FREE Pre-K Imagination Pass. This pass will give that child free admission for both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country all season. (This is really great to get just in case. It’s one less ticket to buy later!)

Parking

No, you didn’t miss anything. There’s not a parking season pass. Not technically. BUT, if you want to avoid paying to park every time you visit, then Gold is the way to go. When you upgrade to a Gold Season Pass, you receive free parking and discounts on Dollywood purchases. Those savings add up quickly!

Photos

The Photo Pass is such a great idea. How many times have I intended to get family pictures during a Dollywood outing only to go home without? (Sure. I have great images of my children, but I end up without any picture-evidence that I was even there.) With a Photo Pass, you get to pose for pictures at both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country as often as you like—group shots, on-ride reactions, even pictures with Santa! —and you’ll have access to the digital download before you get home to your computer.

Dining

I value convenience. I’m a working mom with two young boys, so simplicity is my love language! Last year, Dollywood’s Splash Country rolled out a Dining Pass that’s good for one meal and one snack every time you visit our water park. Dining Pass returns this year and on sale now for our Super Passholders. I’m hopeful this concept will grow in the years to come!

Drink Refills

Dollywood is a big theme park full of entertainment options. You will be busy all day, and you’re going to need to stop for a drink. The most economical way to hydrate is with a refillable mug. You can choose from either refills for the day or refills for the season and they work at both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country.

Buckets (Popcorn, Kettle Corn, Pork Rinds)

Like refills on drinks, purchasing a refillable bucket gives you the freedom to return again and again to your favorite snack stands throughout the season to fill up for a discount. Choose from popcorn, kettle corn or pork rinds and visit the booth of your choice. You can rotate what you get!

Dippin’ Dots

I know I keep talking about food. They say you spend about four-and-a-half years of your life eating, so it’s important to have a Dollywood eating strategy. If you enjoy indulging in an ice cream treat while you play at our theme park, this is definitely an option you should know about. You can purchase a refillable souvenir bowl at Dollywood and use it at both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country.

I hope I shared some info you didn’t previously know. If you’re planning on things to do this spring and to get out of the house and stretch your legs at Dollywood more than once this year, some of these programs could save you some money!
