Pre-K Passes Return for 2021! Here’s What You Need to Know

This time last year, I remember being so excited about our brand-new Pre-K Imagination Passes.

Now, I’m excited to tell you that we’ve decided to bring them back for 2021!

Here’s what you need to know:

What is a Pre-K Imagination Pass?

This Season Pass is designed for our youngest park visitors who require a ticket. With the Pre-K Imagination Pass in hand, preschoolers are granted unlimited visits to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country for the season. The pass gets its name from its inspiration— a program Dolly dreamed up to send free books to children from birth to age 5. At Dollywood, children don’t need a ticket to get into the park until they turn 4, so the Imagination Pass is a special offer for older preschool children.

Who Qualifies and How Do I Get this Deal?
For 2021, there are three categories your child could fall into:

Children who did not have this pass for 2020 and were born in 2016 or 2017
Three cheers you found this offer for your preschooler! This buys you a year of theme park and water park fun for your child—without getting out your credit card. If you do not currently have this pass, you will register for the pass here by Feb. 7, 2021.

Children who have a 2020 Pre-K Imagination Pass and were born in 2016
Aren’t you so glad you get to take advantage of this offer for another season?! Right now, this pass is good through June 15, 2021. You will need to register again so your child’s pass is valid through the end of the 2021 season. It does not extend automatically. Register here for the extension by Feb. 7, 2021.

Children who have a 2020 Pre-K Imagination Pass and were born in 2015
This is the category my Kindergartner is in. With his Pre-K Imagination pass, he can visit for free through June 15, 2021. Because he’s aging out (cue the tears!), we will need to upgrade his complimentary pass to a paid admission for all visits after June 15. But, there’s some good news in this—the cost to enjoy more than six months of Dollywood fun is the price of a child’s one-day ticket. (There’s also special pricing on a two-park pass!) And, as much as we loved our Pre-K Pass, it did not come with Bring-A-Friend tickets. This upgrade DOES. Upgrade now and receive Bring-A-Friend free tickets flexible for the 2021 season.

What Else Do I Need to Know?
Once you register, extend or upgrade, you can begin using this pass immediately. You will need to process the pass on your first visit. For children born in 2016 or 2017, you will need to bring the confirmation email and a photo copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport with you to the gate—even if you did that for the 2020 Pre-K pass. For children born in 2015, you just need to bring the confirmation email to receive the new Season Pass.

You must register, extend or upgrade online by Feb. 7, 2021.

You do not need to make any other purchases to get this deal, but because you can’t drop your preschooler off at Dollywood for an adventure on their own, I recommend everyone in your family gets in on the Season Pass fun!
