Lodging Guests Have GUARANTEED Entry to Parks

When it comes to why I recommend staying at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa, the reasons seem endless. The short distance to both Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country, complimentary trolley service to both parks (that means no paying to park, yes please!), complimentary TimeSavers, THE CINNAMON BREAD… I could go on and on.

If you prefer to stay in a cozy, private cabin, Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins have their own set of perks, such as free reserved parking at both parks. Both lodging options will make your vacation more convenient and leave you with more time and opportunities to create special family memories.

When we reopened the parks this season, we implemented some changes to help keep everyone safe and healthy, including limiting capacity. To do this, we launched our new reservation system where Season Passholders and Daily Ticket Guests are encouraged to go in and reserve their spots to ensure they can come to the park on their desired day. HOWEVER, as a Guest at Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa or Dollywood’s Smoky Mountain Cabins, you are given Priority Access. This means that with valid admission tickets or Season Passes, you are guaranteed entry to the parks—also meaning you do not need to reserve your spot online.

To take advantage of your Priority Access, you will be given a card at check-in that states you are a resort or cabins Guest. You will present your tickets/Season Passes and this card to the Host as you come into the park. Make sure you keep this card and your tickets in case you want to leave and come back during your day.

While we are talking about lodging guest park perks and to help you plan on what things to do this summer, another perk to take advantage of right now is the fireworks show at the end of Friday and Saturday nights. The fireworks start at about 9:40 and are the perfect way to end your day at Dollywood. But, if you decide to leave the park early, enjoy Dollywood’s Splash Country or spend the day playing at the resort, you can still watch the fireworks near the outdoor pool area of the resort. My favorite spot to watch is sitting in one of the rocking chairs on the porches or by the fire pits. This is the view from one of our guest rooms.

You can also enjoy the fireworks from some of our Dollywood Smoky Mountain Cabins.

SPECIAL LIMITED-TIME OFFER: I also want to let you know about a cool package we have available to resort guests. Our Dollywood Stay & Play Ticket Package includes two or three-day Dollywood tickets and FREE entrance to Dollywood’s Splash Country. Book now through July 31, 2020, and come now through Sept. 7, 2020.
