The holidays will be here before we know it, which means we will all have sugar plums dancing in our heads and long Christmas lists to fulfill. To make life a little easier, why not do some shopping while you are out enjoying Dollywood’s Harvest Festival this fall or Smoky Mountain Christmas this winter? I hit the pavement and came up with this gift guide of some of my favorite Dollywood finds.
Let’s start on Showstreet. First up is The Southern Pantry. This quaint, little shop is located right next to the Sweet Shoppe and has several functional but stylish kitchen items such as aprons and towels. I found these cute salt and pepper shakers that would add a sophisticated, seasonal touch to many of my friends’ kitchens.
Just down from The Southern Pantry is Traditions. Traditions has a variety of southern-inspired gifts including the latest designs from brands including Simply Southern® and Kerusso®. This include these fun t-shirts with uplifting messages.
As you make your way into Rivertown Junction, you’ll come across Mountain Laurel HOME. This cozy store offers a beautiful variety of home décor from tea towels, to candles, to Christmas ornaments. This shop is also home to chic Dolly inspired gifts. My favorite is this simple coffee mug. Don’t we all need a good cup of ambition?
The Smoky Mountain Christmas Cottage has a variety of Christmas decor the entire time the park is open. You can find ornaments, tree toppers and tea towels, and you are sure to find a gift that is meaningful. This little kitty ornament looks just like my furbaby Oliver and would look great on my tree! Picture of Oliver in last year’s Christmas outfit included for reference (and cuteness).
Our next stop is Craftsman’s Valley. In this area, you will find a number of options for unique, personalized and hand-made gifts. Found Treasures & Pick-A-Pearl offers beautiful artisan jewelry from dainty bracelets to statement earrings and necklaces. For a more personal touch, you can ‘pick-a-pearl’ by choosing an oyster and then set your pearl in a necklace! This would be a fun gift for kids to give to Mom!
Craftsman’s Valley is also home to Hillside General Store. This little shop is reminiscent of an old-fashioned shop. It has a delicious variety of jellies, jams and (non-edible) bath items. Bath bombs are one of my favorite ways to relax, and the Hillside General Store has a variety to choose from.
In Wildwood Grove is Mountain Grove Merchants. This shop brings the fun, colorful themes of Wildwood Grove to t-shirts, coffee mugs and jewelry. One of my favorite finds is this dainty, simple necklace. There is a variety of designs and messages to choose from. Minimalist jewelry is really popular right now and this would be popular gift for daughters, granddaughters and nieces!
Moving into Timber Canyon is The Mine Shaft. This store is located right outside Mystery Mine and has a variety of fun and colorful sundresses, flip fops, and my favorite, Tye-Dye items. These Tye-Dye Dollywood t-shirts are a classic and never go out of style. Dollywood-goers have been wearing them for generations. (See below the picture of my little sister Emily wearing hers in the mid 2000’s.)
As you make your way out of the park, The Emporium provides you with just about anything Dollywood you could want. BUT, it also provides some really functional gifts. These Corkcicle tumblers and lunchboxes make great gifts for just about anyone who eats and drinks. Plus, they are really pretty. You can also find this clever and fun coffee that would go perfect with a tumbler!
And what would a Dollywood gift guide be without including a little bit of Dolly herself. This exclusive 18″ doll is dressed just like her namesake in an authentic Coat of Many Colors and with her trusty guitar in hand. These are perfect for little girls and Dolly fans alike.
