Have Yourself a Little Christmas Glow

It is finally the most wonderful time of the year. Smoky Mountain Christmas has been spreading holiday cheer since early November, and our newest addition to the festival, Glacier Ridge, is creating a little extra gleam. We know when you visit this holiday season you will cherish these festive memories, but we want to be sure that you leave with a piece of Dollywood as well. What better gift is there than a little Christmas glow!

As you enjoy the Parade of Many Colors (happens nightly at 8:15 p.m.), join the revelry with your own adornments. The lightbulb necklaces are always popular—or try one of our new bubble wands! Which would you rather? Gingerbread man, snowman or Christmas tree?

Or, maybe you’d get in the spirit with some red or green hair? You can be holiday-stylin’ in no time! The great thing about theme parks is you’re here to have FUN. So, laugh and be silly like no one is watching!

The glow continues with some special items that have the icy tones of Glacier Ridge. Grab a blue-lit snowflake lanyard. My prediction: before you leave the park, you will be asked where you got it! If you’d rather carry it than wear it, check out the snowflake or star wands. It will add to the enchanted feeling you get as you wander through the Arctic Passage or the northern lights.

At Dollywood, it’s all about making memories. We hope your Christmas season is a glowing one!

Look for glow merchandise in carts located in Market Square, the Plaza at Wilderness Pass, near the entrances to Glacier Ridge (upper end of Craftsman’s Valley and near the train trestle in Timber Canyon), and along the Parade of Many Colors route.

Pursuing a degree in Public Relations at the University of Tennessee, Brayden has one year until she begins ‘real life.’ After graduation, she hopes to continue working in entertainment, most specifically for a theme park! Outside of her love for Dollywood, Brayden spends her time cheering on the Vols at basketball games, visiting her family back home, and volunteering at church.
