I remember the first time I heard Andy Stanley say it: “Do for one what you wish you could do for everyone.” That simple thought gave me permission to say yes more. There’s no way I can buy lunch for everyone I know, but I can do it for one. This principle can be applied to a Facebook message we received. A mom tagged Dollywood that her 7-year-old son decided he wanted to be a Dollywood host for his school’s career day. We’re always looking for good help, so we asked Nathan if he wanted to come see what it would be like to work at our parks as a junior host for a day. He said yes. From greeting and scanning tickets to blowing the train whistle and helping lifeguards, Nathan covered a lot of ground. Check out the video to see what his day included.
