Dollywood’s New Ticket Options

In life, I like to weigh all my options. Sometimes it’s easy to spot what’s good, better, and best. Sometimes it’s not. With Dollywood, I hope to make this easy for you. Starting this season while our water park is open (May 19 – Sept. 3), there are new ticket options for your family to consider before planning your Dollywood visit. Use this as a cheat sheet to make your decision what’s best for you.

*Two notes:

  • All multi-day tickets are good for a five-day usage window, based on operating days.
  • My ranking is based on value, but you know what your family will enjoy and what your schedule
allows, so your ranking may look different.

This is your standard 1-Day ticket. Enjoy a full day at either Dollywood or Dollywood’s Splash Country!

You won’t get to do everything, but you can see the highlights at both the water park and theme park. TimeSavers are a great option to check off the attractions and shows you want to see. If you’re here during Summer Celebration (June 16 – Aug. 5), you’ll definitely want to end the day with the nightly fireworks at Dollywood!

You enjoy your visit so much, you want to return for another day at the same park. It’s only $20 more to come back for a second full day!

You won’t feel as rushed to enjoy all that you can at both parks. It’s only $20 more than a 1-Day ticket, so this option makes a lot of sense.

Perhaps you’re from out of town and you REALLY love Dollywood or Dollywood’s Splash Country, but you won’t be in the area again this season. It’s just $10 more than a 2-Day ticket.

When someone asks me how much time they should allot for a Dollywood trip, I tell them it takes a couple days to experience everything at the theme park and at least one full day at the water park. So, if you are only coming to town once this season, this is what I would recommend. It’s only $10 more than a 2-Day, 2-Park ticket.

If you can swing two or three visits, a Season Pass will pay for itself. And, if you can make it work, why would you not want to come?? Allow me to remind you, in addition to the attractions, shows and food, we have Festival of Nations, Spring Mix Music Series, BBQ & Bluegrass, Summer Celebration, Harvest Festival featuring Great Pumpkin LumiNights, and Smoky Mountain Christmas.

And, best-of-the-best options is to purchase one Gold Super Pass. You will want a Super because you will get unlimited use out of both the theme park and water park, and you will want Gold because you’re coming anyway, you will want free parking and a discount on all food and merchandise you buy!
